Pinellas Park Police Department Searching for Hit-and-Run Suspect Vehicle

On Friday, November 15, 2024 at approximately 1:04 a.m., Pinellas Park Police officers responded to a crash in the 6500 block of 68th Avenue North after a male victim was found lying in the roadway.

The victim was transported to the trauma center at a local hospital, where he remains in stable but serious condition.

Investigators determined that the victim was walking north across 68th Avenue North when he fell into the roadway. At 12:53 a.m. an unidentified white or silver SUV made a wide right turn and struck the victim. The driver fled the scene without stopping.

The Pinellas Park Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the vehicle involved. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Pinellas Park Police Department at 727-369-7864. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers of Pinellas County at 800-873-TIPS (8477).

The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of their family.
