Pinellas Park Police Investigate Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash

The Pinellas Park Police Department is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at approximately 6:27 p.m.

Officers responded to reports of a collision at the intersection of 70th Avenue North and 49th Street. They determined that a silver Nissan Versa had struck a tree in the median.

All three vehicle occupants were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. One of the occupants, an elderly female, later died from her injuries.

Preliminary findings indicate that neither speeding nor impairment contributed to the crash. The investigation remains ongoing.
