On Friday, December 15, 2023, at approximately 2:22 PM, Pinellas Park Police officers responded to a report of a shooting incident in the 6600 block of 80th Ave N.
Upon arrival, officers located two adult male neighbors who had been involved in a verbal argument. During the argument, the suspect shot the victim with a handgun.
The victim was grazed by the bullet and sustained minor injuries. He refused medical attention and was not transported to the hospital.
The suspect, 26-year-old Nicholas Harrington was taken into custody without incident, and there is no threat to the public.
Detectives are on scene, and this is an active and ongoing investigation with multiple criminal charges pending.
No further information is expected to be released today.
