Pinellas Park Police investigating a crash involving a pedestrian fatality on Park Boulevard

Officers from the Pinellas Park Police Department, firefighters from the Pinellas Park Fire Department, and the City of Seminole Fire Rescue responded to a crash involving a 2013 Infiniti G37 and a pedestrian.

The crash occurred at approximately 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, in the 7700 block of Park Blvd.

Investigators have identified the deceased pedestrian as 66-year-old Jeffrey Ross, from Largo. The 69 year-old male and St. Petersburg resident that was driving the Infinity was not physically injured in the crash.

No charges are pending as a result of this crash. Investigators determined Jeffrey Ross was crossing Park Blvd outside of a crosswalk and directly in the path of the vehicle.

This investigation is active, and there are no signs that speed or alcohol was a factor in this crash.

Westbound Park Blvd is currently closed at 76th St and is anticipated to be closed for a few hours for the investigation to be completed.
