Pinellas Park police have secured an arrest warrant for a Tampa man following a kidnapping and domestic battery incident that occurred on August 27, 2025.
At approximately 7:00 p.m., witnesses reported seeing 62-year-old Pedro Daniel Gonzalez-Zamora strike a woman and forcefully place her into a vehicle outside 7150 Bryan Dairy Road, within the jurisdiction of Pinellas Park. Gonzalez-Zamora then left the scene with the victim inside his car.
A witness, knowing the victim lived in Hillsborough County, contacted the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies attempted to reach the victim by phone and later located both her and Gonzalez-Zamora. He was taken into custody and transported to the Hillsborough County Jail.
The Pinellas Park investigation determined that Gonzalez-Zamora arrived at the victim’s employer sometime before her arrival. When the victim arrived and attempted to enter the building of her employer, she was struck multiple times and forcibly placed into a vehicle.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office charged Gonzalez-Zamora with battery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and tampering with a witness. Following their investigation, Pinellas Park detectives obtained an arrest warrant charging him with kidnapping and domestic battery.
Gonzalez-Zamora remains in custody at the Hillsborough County Jail.
