Pinellas Park Woman Charged With Attempted Murder After Stabbing Her Mother
Pinellas Park Police arrested 26 year-old Felicia Sherk of Pinellas Park after stabbing her mother, 42 year-old Amy Campbell of Pinellas Park.
The stabbing occurred at approximately 2:50 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 4080 71st Terrace N.
Pinellas Park Police responded to an aggravated battery call. Upon arrival of officers, it was determined that Campbell had been stabbed in the chest with a knife, by her adult daughter Felicia Sherk who was living in the home at the time of this incident.
Following the stabbing, Sherk had fled the home and was later located and taken into custody by a Pinellas Park Police K-9 team.
Investigators determined that the stabbing was a result of an ongoing family dispute over Sherk living in the residence.
Campbell was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg for treatment of her injuries which at this time appear to be non-life threatening.
Felicia Sherk refused to cooperate with investigators and was booked into the Pinellas County Jail on one count of attempted murder (first degree) with no bond.
