Police identify critically injured bicyclist in St. Petersburg crash

St. Petersburg police traffic investigators asked for help to identify a bicyclist involved in traffic incident near the intersection of 18th Avenue and 66th Street North this afternoon.

About 12:10 p.m. today, 11/04/2021, a bicycle and an electric scooter collided on 18th Avenue North just east of 66th Street.

The bicyclist injured in a traffic incident near the intersection was identified as 77 year-old Alvera Minutello of St. Petersburg.

She was transported to the hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries.

The operator of the electric scooter was uninjured.
