Police arrested 42-year-old Adam Rosema and charged him with racing on a highway and reckless driving resulting in serious bodily injury.

At approximately 1:00 a.m. on November 8, 2025, Rosema was driving a white Ford  Mustang southbound on 4th Street South approaching 2nd Avenue South. At the same time, a pedestrian was walking westbound on 2nd Avenue South and entered the crosswalk at 4th Street South against the traffic signal.

As an uninvolved vehicle slowed to allow the pedestrian to cross, Rosema made an improper lane change to pass it and accelerated, striking the pedestrian.

The victim, a 27-year-old woman, sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital for treatment.
