Officers continue to investigate a stabbing incident in Pinellas Park. The incident occurred on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at approximately 4:25 p.m.
The Pinellas Park Police Department responded to an individual who had been stabbed at 12550 49th Street N.
Following investigative procedures, it was revealed that 63-year-old Winston Tutein had engaged in a verbal dispute with another individual. The altercation escalated, leading to Tutein stabbing the victim in the abdominal area, causing a puncture wound.
The victim was transported to the trauma center at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg and is currently in stable condition.
Tutein was apprehended at the scene and has been charged with Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon.
