Officers from the St. Petersburg Police are investigating a shooting that took place in the 500 block of 80th Avenue N.
The call for service was shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2020
Arriving officers found 24 year-old Brock Howze in the street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Witnesses reports hearing multiple gunshots and believe that Howze was thrown out of vehicle that left the area.
Howze was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The St. Petersburg Police Department later confirmed that Howze died from this injuries.
The suspect is unknown. It is early in the investigation and at this time there are no other details to release.
