Police Search for Suspects After Vehicle Crash Near Central Park in Largo
Clearwater Police were called to reports of an armed person at approximately 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2018.
The suspect and another subject left the scene on Woodlawn Oaks Avenue in Clearwater prior to law enforcement arrival.

The involved Mercedes was spotted by a Clearwater Police officer near the intersection of East Bay Drive and Missouri Avenue.
Largo Police were requested to assist.

The Mercedes was involved in a vehicle crash near the intersection of Central Park Drive and Lake Allison Drive.
The two subjects fled the scene of the crash. One subject was apprehended quickly but the search continues for the second.
School lockouts appear to be lifting as of 1:35 p.m.
