St. Petersburg Police are searching for 26-year-old Jayanna Clark, who was forced into a vehicle during an altercation Monday morning and is now believed to be traveling in a different car.

At approximately 7:15 a.m., witnesses reported seeing Clark in a confrontation with a man in the parking lot of the Crescent Lane Apartments, located at 2000 Gandy Boulevard.

The man forced Clark into her Nissan Altima and drove away, striking two parked vehicles before heading north on U.S. 19. Investigators believe the man may be a former boyfriend and are concerned for Clark’s safety.

Later in the day, officers located Clark’s Altima abandoned at 6500 Ulmerton Road. Police now believe Clark and the man switched cars and are traveling in a dark-colored sedan. The vehicle is possibly a BMW 3 Series sedan.

Authorities are urging anyone with information on Clark’s whereabouts of the dark sedan to contact the St. Petersburg Police Department at 727-893-7780, or text SPPD plus your tip to TIP411.

It appears Clark was reportedly abducted in Temple Terrace and located in Largo in July 2024. Information on that incident can be found at https://iontb.com/armed-kidnapping-suspect-arrested-in-largo/. According to court documents, the case was eventually dropped by the prosecution.
