Possible Drowning Reported on Treasure Island Beach

TREASURE ISLAND – Emergency crews responded to a possible drowning on Treasure Island Beach near 126th Avenue at approximately 3:25 p.m. on Monday, August 11, 2025.

According to initial reports, a man in his 20s was found floating in the water and brought to shore by bystanders.

Treasure Island Fire Rescue, the Treasure Island Police Department, and nearby fire agencies arrived on scene and began life-saving measures.

Sunstar Paramedics transported the patient to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg.

The patient’s condition is currently unknown, according to the Treasure Island Public Information Officer.
