Public Assistance Needed in Identifying Suspect Involved in Theft at Dunedin Community Center

Detectives from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying a suspect involved in a theft incident at the Dunedin Community Center. The incident, which occurred on August 26, 2023, saw the suspect make off with $3,000.00 worth of camera equipment, a wallet, and cash from multiple victims.

The suspect, who posed as a photographer during an event, later went on to use stolen credit cards at various convenience stores.

Described as a male of African-American descent, the suspect is believed to be between 50 to 60 years old, with an estimated height ranging from 6’0″ to 6’2″. Witnesses have described him as having a slim build.

Authorities are urging anyone who may possess information related to this case to come forward. Detective Tutko can be reached for any tips or leads at (727) 582-6355.

Law enforcement officials are working diligently to resolve this case and make an arrest.
