The Largo Police Department Traffic Homicide Unit responded to an accident at Indian Rocks Road and Cove Drive involving a 2010 ZHNG scooter. The crash occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024.
The scooter was traveling southbound on Indian Rocks Road and swerved into oncoming traffic, colliding head-on with a 2003 Ford Econovan.

According to investigators, the scooter driver, displaying signs of impairment, was transported to a local hospital due to serious bodily injury.
The Ford van driver, showing no signs of impairment, sustained no injuries. All vehicles involved remained at the scene.
