Detectives from the St. Petersburg Police Department arrested a 21-year-old St. Petersburg man after receiving a cyber tip related to the purchase of videos depicting sexual activity with animals.
The investigation led to the execution of a search warrant, during which Sengaroun was found in possession of 10 such videos on his cell phone.
Sengaroun has been charged with 10 counts of Sexual Activity Involving Animals.
According to officials, Sengaroun was hired two weeks ago as a seasonal part-time employee at the City of St. Petersburg’s Walter Fuller Recreation Center. He had passed the required Level 2 background screening for childcare workers in Florida, as defined in Chapter 435 of the Florida Statutes. His employment was immediately terminated following his arrest.
Authorities stated there is currently no indication that any participants at the recreation center were involved or impacted by the incident.
