Seminole Man Arrested for Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material

SEMINOLE – Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit (CAC) have arrested a Seminole man for Child Sexual Abuse Material (CASM).

Detectives began their investigation after 44-year-old Ladimer Joseph Humel of Seminole was arrested by narcotics detectives on July 24, 2025, on several drug charges. Throughout the course of the investigation, detectives located videos of children between the ages of six and ten years old engaged in sexual acts on Humel’s cellphone.

On September 25, 2025, Humel was charged with three counts of Possession of CASM. He remains in custody at the Pinellas County Jail.

The investigation continues.
