SEMINOLE — Detectives with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Crimes Against Children Unit arrested a Seminole man for the transmission of videos involving sexual activity with animals.
The investigation began on December 26, 2024, after authorities received information that files depicting bestiality were being accessed and shared online. Detectives used investigative techniques to identify the suspect as 53-year-old Jose Amadeo.
According to investigators, the videos featured adult males and females engaging in sexual acts with dogs and horses.
On May 21, 2025, detectives interviewed Amadeo, who admitted to viewing and distributing the videos. He was arrested and charged with ten counts of Sexual Activity Involving Animals. Amadeo was booked into the Pinellas County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing.
