Arrest Made in Shooting Death Case at the Member’s Only Club in St. Petersburg

Update: May 31, 2018

Jonathan Tucker was arrested and charged with 2nd degree murder last Saturday morning.

Jonathan Christopher Tucker, age 32 was taken into custody around 10am today and now faces a felony 2nd degree murder charge in the shooting
death of Brennan-Aire D. Williams.

Officers responded to a call of shots fired in the parking lot of the Member’s Only Club, 1536 16th Street South, at approximately 4:30 a.m on Saturday, May 26, 2018.

As officers were arriving, they were notified that 28 year-old Brennan-Aire D. Williams of St. Petersburg had already been driven to the hospital. He died shortly after arriving at Bayfront Health in a taxi cab.

Detectives are interviewing the people who drove him there, as well as people at the club.

Investigators believe an argument led to the shooting in front of the club. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 893-7780 or text SPPD + your tip to TIP411.

It is still early in the investigation and no further details are available at this time.
