Smoke from East Lake Brush Fire May Linger in the Area for Next Few Days

On Tuesday, February 7th, 2017 at 11:38am, East Lake Fire Rescue responded to
a brush fire off Ridgemoor Boulevard.

Crews were able to contain the fire to about 2 acres in size.  No damage to any structures and no injuries occurred.

Residents in the surrounding areas may continue to smell smoke which could linger for the next couple of days.

East Lake Fire Rescue tells residents to not be alarmed by the smoke smell but do call 911 if you see fire.
