Tampa, FL – A temporary closure of the southbound I-275 ramp (Exit 45B) to eastbound I-4 will occur tonight from 10 p.m., Monday, January 13, to 5 a.m., Tuesday, January 14, weather permitting.
Motorists will detour around the work zone by continuing south on I-275, exiting the interstate using Exit 45A (Jefferson Street), keeping left at the fork toward Downtown East, turning left onto Scott Street, and re-entering the interstate using the eastbound I-4 entrance ramp.
Advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will assist motorists traveling through the detour. Drivers should use caution while traveling through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers in the area.
This ramp closure is necessary for crews to perform maintenance activities for the Downtown Tampa Interchange (I-275/I-4) Safety and Operational Improvements project.
