Investigators from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Crimes Against Children Unit have arrested 36-year-old Steven Ryan Gilmore, a St. Pete Beach resident. He resides at 420 64th Avenue in St. Pete Beach.
The arrest follows an investigation initiated by the Crimes Against Children Unit, prompted by information about the access and sharing of child pornography online on Instagram and Snapchat. Detectives, employing various investigative techniques, identified Gilmore as the suspect.
The illicit images involved children between the ages of one and six years old. On January 11, 2024, Gilmore was apprehended, and charges were filed against him. He reportedly had 14 videos and 107 images located on these sites.
Gilmore faces charges including ten counts of Possession of Child Pornography, ten counts of Transmission of Child Pornography, and one count of Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device.
Gilmore has been transported to the Pinellas County Jail, and the investigation remains ongoing.
