St. Petersburg: Barricaded Man Incident Ends Without Injuries; Three in Custody

Police have cleared a barricaded man incident following an hours-long response on Monday.

According to an update from authorities, at approximately 12:20 p.m., witnesses reported seeing three men holding another man at gunpoint. Two of the men forced the victim into an apartment located at 1315 4th Avenue North and barricaded themselves inside. A third suspect remained outside the apartment acting as a lookout.

At some point during the incident, one suspect and the victim exited the apartment. A second suspect later surrendered to police at 2:06 p.m. The scene was then cleared. No injuries were reported.

All three men involved are currently in custody.

Suspect# 1: Robert Marshall (DOB 06/09/97) kidnapping 

Suspect# 2: Charles Rawls (DOB 06/17/86) kidnapping and felon in possession of 
a firearm 

Suspect# 3: Alex Russell (DOB 12/06/86) kidnapping

In an earlier release, police reported responding to a barricaded man in the 1300 block of 4th Avenue South. During the incident, all eastbound lanes from Interstate 375 into the city were shut down.
