At approximately 8:30 pm, on Thursday, April 6, 2023, St. Petersburg Fire Rescue responded to Halkey Roberts (2700 Halkey Roberts PL N) for reports of fire coming from the roof.
Crews arrived, made access to the roof of the large warehouse, and found the roofing material of an approximately 50′ x 20′ area around a ventilation fan on fire.

A fire investigator is responding to the scene.
Currently, the fire is under investigation.
The building was evacuated by an employee initiating the fire alarm, and inside of the building only had a remanence of light smoke.
