Officers from the St Petersburg Police Department (SPPD) are currently on scene conducting a death investigation in the area of 1st Avenue S and 73rd Street. The original call was at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 31, 2021.
SPPD reports a deceased person found in the roadway.
1st Av S is shut down from 73rd ST S to Park St S.
