Detectives from the St. Petersburg Police Department continue to investigate a fatal shooting late Thursday evening.
At approximately 11:53 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2024, police received calls about shots being heard at the Citrus Groves Apartments located at 731 15th Street S.
Then, at about 1:30 a.m., police were notified that a private vehicle dropped off 18-year-old Taiwan Gland at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg Hospital with a gunshot wound.
He died later from his injuries.
Investigators have determined he was injured in a shooting in the parking lot of Citrus Groves Apts.
