St. Petersburg Police Investigating Deadly Shooting

ST. PETERSBURG — St. Petersburg Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the “The Deuces” area in the 900 block of 22nd Street South.

Officers arrived at the scene around 6:38 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026, where they found two individuals outside with gunshot wounds.

One adult male was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second victim, a 35-year-old man, was transported to a local trauma center with critical injuries.

Detectives are working to determine the circumstances leading up to the shooting. No suspect information has been released at this time.
