St. Petersburg Police Investigating Fatal Crash Late Sunday Evening

As of 6 a.m., St. Petersburg Police investigators are still on the scene of a 3 vehicle crash that killed one person and injured several others on 4th Street North.

The crash occurred shortly before 11 p.m., but 4th St N between 15th-18th Ave North remained closed until 7:15 a.m. due to the investigation

On Sunday, May 14, 2017, at 10:35 p.m., a 2013 Cadillac sedan being driven by 24 year-old Curtis Cramer, was southbound in the 1900 block of 4th Street North in St. Petersburg.

The Cadillac struck the west curb of 4th Street North and continued southbound.

A 2010 Mercedes sedan being driven by 28 year-old Kevin George, was traveling southbound on 4th Street North.

Cramer’s Cadillac then struck the Mercedes from behind, which sent the Mercedes further south. The Cadillac then crossed into the northbound lanes of travel and struck a 2017 Toyota sedan traveling northward on 4th Street North.

The Toyota was driven by 43 year-old Emeker Baxter. The Toyota also transporting a passenger.

All four of the occupants in the three car crash were transported from the scene to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg Hospital.

According to police officials, Cramer was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

The investigation is still on-going.

  1. Do NOT speak down or low of Curtis Cramer. He was my brother! And a hell of a lot better person then whomever dares speaks his name without respect. Only someone so small minded and black hearted could JUDGE any person on this earth, especially on a topic which took their life…somebody you know and knew nothing about… the accident nor were involved in it. Just to speculate your ignorant reasonings.
