St. Petersburg Police Investigating Fatality Pedestrian Crash
Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on 4th Street North near 74th Avenue North.
The crash occurred at approximately 6 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25. 2018.
A Toyota Prius being driven by a 24 year-old St. Petersburg woman was traveling north on 4th Street North stricking and killing 78 year-old Carol Hotter of St. Petersburg.
Hotter died at the scene. The driver stopped and was cooperative and did not
show signs of impairment according to police.
The investigation is ongoing.
4th Street was closed in both directions between 73- 75th Avenue North for several hours during the investigation.
