St. Petersburg: Victim Seriously Injured in Stabbing Tied to Argument over $10

ST. PETERSBURG – Police arrested 44-year-old Calvin Holland for attempted first-degree murder following a stabbing incident Friday morning.

On September 12, 2025, at 9:44 a.m., Holland and a 60-year-old man were passengers in a vehicle parked at 3554 Central Avenue. Police say the two argued over ten dollars.

Holland exited the front passenger seat, walked around the vehicle, and stabbed the victim multiple times through the open rear passenger window. The victim sustained serious injuries.

Holland fled the scene but was located and taken into custody a short time later.
