Stabbing Death in St. Petersburg Leads to Arrest

St. Petersburg, FL – On January 18, 2025, at 8:26 p.m., officers responded to a report of a stabbing at 2031 Queensboro Avenue South. Upon arrival, they found George Hudson, 56, outside, suffering from a stab wound. Officers administered CPR before Hudson was transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Detectives determined that Hudson had been involved in an argument earlier that evening with Jonathan Conyers, 49.

Following the investigation, police located and arrested Conyers at 2:50 a.m. on January 19.

He has been charged with first-degree murder and is currently being held at the Pinellas County Jail.
