St. Petersburg Police announced the arrest of a student on the campus of Northeast High School in St. Petersburg. The incident took place on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.
Investigators arrested the 15-year-old student at Northeast High School for driving a stolen car and having a loaded gun in his backpack on campus.
The 10th grader did not make any threatening statements or threaten anyone with a gun at school.
He faces three felony charges:
-Grand Theft
-Possession of a weapon on school property
-Possession of burglary tools
