On January 17, 2024, the Pinellas Park Police Department SWAT team executed a pre-planned narcotics search warrant at 4700 block of 88th Ave N, Alfred Spearman’s residence.
The operation followed an investigation by the Special Investigations Unit, revealing evidence of Spearman’s involvement in the armed trafficking of fentanyl exceeding 28 grams.
Spearman faces charges of possession with intent to sell and felon in possession of a firearm. He was arrested without incident and booked into Pinellas County Jail.
Spearman, previously arrested in November 2023 for fentanyl possession with intent to sell, has an extensive arrest history.
Chief Adam Geissenberger has commented on the operation and said, “The dangers associated with fentanyl use is alarming, and this arrest reinforces our commitment to removing these substances from our community. Our agency will continue to work tirelessly to safeguard the well-being of our residents”.
