On March 1, 2022 at approximately 4:29 p.m., the Tarpon Springs Police Department responded to a call of a dog bite.
Upon arrival, officers were informed that an off duty Largo Police Department Canine was accidentally released from his fenced in yard area and bit a 10 year old juvenile. The juvenile was taken to the hospital by his father and is in stable condition.
Due to this being a Law Enforcement Officer’s residence and Largo Police Canine no further information is being released at this time.
