A teacher at Leto High School has been arrested following an investigation into inappropriate conduct involving a student, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
On February 24, 2026, a School Resource Deputy at Leto High School was notified of an incident involving a teacher and a student. Detectives with the agency’s Special Victims Section responded to the campus to begin an investigation.
Detectives determined that the same day, Gregory Sinadinos II, 33, kissed a 17-year-old student. Investigators also learned that Sinadinos displayed an obscene photo of himself to the student and challenged the student to do the same.
Sinadinos has been employed at Leto High School for two years.
“Parents trust that when they send their children to school, they are entering a safe environment focused on learning and growth,” said Chad Chronister. “There is absolutely no excuse for an adult in a position of authority to engage in inappropriate conduct with a student. This arrest sends a clear message: anyone who exploits or attempts to exploit a child will be held accountable.”
Gregory Sinadinos II was arrested and charged with one count of Battery, one count of Authority Figure Soliciting Lewd Conduct with a Student, and one count of Selling or Distributing Obscene Material to a Minor.
