Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a crash in the 6400 block of 46th Avenue N. just prior to 3 AM on April 4, 2023.
A motorcyclist, a 57 year-old male from St. Petersburg, was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle and traveling eastbound in the 6400 block of 46th Avenue North.
Troopers say the rider lost control of the motorcycle which departed the roadway and collided with a utility pole.
Upon impact, the rider was thrown from the motorcycle and suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
The investigation continues.
