Troopers investigate fatal crash involving Largo motorcyclist

The Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist.

The crash occurred at approximately 2:48 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2020.

Based on the preliminary information, the 23 year-old male motorcyclist from Largo was traveling at a high rate of speed northbound on I-275 near the 39 milepost.

The motorcyclist overtook and collided with the rear of tractor trailer which was traveling northbound in the center lane of I-275.

The motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.

The crash closed the northbound lanes of I-275 until 5:30 AM.

A few of us have done things that we are lucky to have lived through and looking back it was pretty dumb of us, doesn’t mean we wanted to die. You really are ignorant

    • dont hate on logic. sure i felt invincible when i was younger but i was not doing stupid crap like this moron did. and if i did and died, i wouldnt expect people to have sympathy. this idiot put others in danger. what if he hit a car with kids in it and forced them off the bridge??? would you be mad then??? nope, you would just be worried about this idiot on a bike who was just young.
