Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol continue investigating a crash that killed a 19-year-old Largo resident.
The crash occurred shortly after 9 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2023, along Ulmerton Road at 3001 Executive Drive.
Based on preliminary information, the helmeted motorcyclist was operating a Honda motorcycle westbound on the Roosevelt Boulevard exit ramp leading to Ulmerton Road when the rider failed to negotiate a curve.
The motorcycle departed the roadway, ejected the rider, and traveled off the overpass along Executive Drive.
The motorcyclist was transported to the Bayfront Health St. Petersburg trauma center, where he later died from his injuries.
