Two 13-year olds shot outside a convenience store in St. Petersburg

At approximately 4:23 p.m. on Monday, September 2, 2024, someone shot two 13-year old boys who were in front of a convenience store at 1421 22nd St. S. 

The boys were transported to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital to be treated for their injuries. 

Detectives have determined that the two teens were targeted due to a neighborhood dispute. The suspect fled in a 4 door white sedan. 

According to investigators, as of Tuesday morning, the two 13-year-old boys remain at the hospital. One is in critical but stable condition and the other is stable.
