St. Petersburg, FL – Officers from the St. Petersburg Police Department received a report of two individuals with gunshot wounds. Initial information indicated that the pair was en route to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg in a black Impala.
An officer located the vehicle at the entrance to the Emergency Department, where two injured males were found. An investigation commenced to determine the location of the shooting. After checking multiple locations, it appears the incident occurred near the Food Max at 14th Street South and 18th Avenue.
The area of the shooting is now marked off with crime scene tape. A crime scene is also set up around the vehicle, with its rear window shattered, parked outside the Emergency Department.
The condition of the two injured men is currently unknown.
