Clearwater Fire and Rescue are on scene at Clearwater Airpark for a Helicopter crash.

Shortly after 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, a call came in for a helicopter crash at Clearwater Airpark.

The helicopter was reportedly doing flight maneuvers close to the ground prior to the crash.

There are a total of two patients who have minor injuries.

Records indicate the helicopter, a 1998 Robinson R22 Beta, is owned by Clearwater Helicopters Inc. out of Clearwater.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
