Two seriously injured after motorcyclist collides with a pedestrian in St. Petersburg

Officers from the St. Petersburg Police Department are on-scene of a crash that injured a motorcyclist and a pedestrian.

Police say that at approximately 8:40 p.m. on Friday, September 3, 2021, a motorcycle northbound on 4th Street North struck a pedestrian near 6th Avenue North.

Both the motorcycle driver and the pedestrian sustained serious injuries and were transported to the trauma center at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.

All lanes of 4th Street North remain closed between 5th Avenue N. and 9th Avenue N. during the on-scene investigation.
