Pasco County Fire Rescue and the Florida Highway Patrol responded to reports of a vehicle that crashed into a residence in the 3000 block of Bahia Avenue in Holiday just before 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
According to investigators, a Hyundai Santa Fe driven by a 46-year-old Holiday woman was traveling westbound on Riverlawn Court when the driver suffered a medical emergency and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle accelerated, entered the property at 3226 Bahia Drive, and struck a chain link fence, a wooden fence, and a swimming pool in succession. Upon impact with the edge of the pool, the vehicle became airborne and struck the east side of the home.
The vehicle fully entered the residence, injuring two women, ages 40 and 42, who were inside. Both women suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to an area hospital. The driver and a 9-year-old male passenger, also from Holiday, sustained minor injuries and were transported for medical evaluation.

The home sustained significant damage. The American Red Cross was notified to assist the displaced residents.
The Florida Highway Patrol is leading the investigation.
