Vehicle Leaves Roadway Injuring Two Men Near The Bayside Bridge
The Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate a single vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2018.
According to troopers, 19 year-old Coi Jenkins of Brandon was driving a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse southbound on the Bayside Bridge.

As he was approaching Roosevelt Boulevard, he failed negotiate the curve at the south end of the bridge.
The Eclipse collided with trees on the shoulder of the roadway.

Jenkins was seriously injured and transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.
Travis Wildfong, age 20 of Brandon, was a passenger in the vehicle and suffered critical injuries.
Troopers do not believe alcohol was involved.
