Residents in Pinellas County and others traveling in Pinellas County can expect road closures tomorrow, August 5, 2020 due to a visit by Vice President Mike Pence.
Roadways that will be experiencing periodic closures include:
10:30 AM and 1:00 PM – Howard Frankland Bridge, Gandy Boulevard/Park Boulevard, and 66th Street North
12:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 66th Street North, Bryan Dairy Road, and Starkey Road, and 86th Avenue North
1:00 PM and 3:00 PM – Starkey Road, Bryan Dairy Road, US Highway 19, State Road 60 from US Highway 19 to Mandalay Avenue on Clearwater Beach
3:00 PM and 5:00 PM – State Road 60 from Clearwater Beach to Tampa International Airport
Traffic on these roadways may be closed in all directions at various times and drivers may be rerouted. Drivers are encouraged to avoid these roadways during these times.
