Water Main Break on Lakeview Road in Clearwater
A water main break has occurred on Lakeview Road between Norwood and South Duncan avenues.
Crews from Clearwater’s Public Utilities Department immediately responded and are making repairs.
This break may cause low to no water pressure in the area. The break was not caused by outside forces.
Traffic in the area will be impacted. All lanes of Lakeview Road between Norwood and Duncan avenues are currently closed and are anticipated to reopen around 9 p.m. while water main repairs are made.
Drivers and pedestrians should avoid the area and use alternate travel routes to reach their destinations.
It has not been determined if a precautionary boil water notice will be issued yet or how many properties may be impacted.
