The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a vehicle crash that occurred shortly after 3 a.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2020.
Multiple crews from Seminole Fire Rescue responded a reports of the rollover crash on 102nd Avenue N near Four Boys Drive which is located between 98th Street and 109th Avenue.
Arriving crews located a single vehicle with heavy damage that appeared to have rolled multiple times. A very large debris field was evident starting with tree damage in the median and all along the eastbound lanes of 102nd Avenue. The car came to rest in the eastbound lane with the debris field stretching at least 75 yards east of the vehicle.
Additional units were requested as determination was made that the female occupant of the vehicle was entrapped. Crews were able to free her from the vehicle and she was transported by ambulance to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg as a trauma alert with undisclosed injuries.
