Man in custody after woman killed in a domestic-related shooting in St. Petersburg

Officers from the St. Petersburg Police Department responded to a report of a person shot shortly before 11 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2024.

A man at the home, 28-year-old Jacob Wallace, was taken into custody. He is facing charges of 2nd degree murder (domestic).

Wallace shot his live-in girlfriend, Tiffany Jade Dickinson, at their home, after an argument. She died at the scene.

He remained at the house and was taken into custody when police arrived without incident. No one else was injured in the house.

The couple resided in the home with his 67 year-old mother and two children, a 10-year old boy, and a 23-month-old girl. They were all home at the time of the shooting.

The toddler is Wallace and Dickinson’s biological child.

This is an ongoing investigation.
