Woman Seriously Injured After Her Motorcycle Collided with a Car in St. Petersburg

The St. Petersburg Police Department continues to investigate a serious injury crash involving a motorcycle. The crash occurred at approximately 2:50 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 13th Avenue North and Tyrone Boulevard.

A 2001 Suzuki Motorcycle, driven by 59 year-old Terri Heisele, was traveling northwest on Tyrone Boulevard, in the curb lane.  A 2015 Infiniti sedan, driven by 51 year-old Pamela Yerby-Cole was traveling southbound on Tyrone Boulevard, making an eastbound turn onto 13th Avenue North.  The motorcycle struck the side of the sedan.

St. Petersburg Police investigating serious injury crash

Heisele was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, where she remains in critical but stable condition.  Yerby-Cole is cooperating with investigators and they say that alcohol is not a factor in the crash.

This is an ongoing investigation.
