Woman Struck and Killed After Stepping in Front of a Vehicle on Seminole Boulevard

Investigators from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office continue to investigate a fatal pedestrian crash. The crash occurred at approximately 9:23 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2019.

According to investigators, a 71-year-old Largo man was operating his 2003 Toyota Tundra northbound in the curb lane of Seminole Boulevard passing through the green traffic signal at 66th Avenue North.

The pedestrian,50-year-old Ann Marie Musolf was walking along the sidewalk on the east side of Seminole Boulevard, just north of 66th Avenue North, when she stepped into the roadway in front of the Toyota Tundra.

Police say the driver was unable to take any preventative action before striking the Musolf in the roadway.

Paramedics from the City of Seminole responded and pronounced the woman deceased at the scene.

uring the course of the investigation, deputies learned that Musolf had been drinking alcohol with her boyfriend behind a business located at 6595 Seminole Boulevard, prior to the crash.

Investigators say that the driver of the Toyota showed no signs of impairment and provided two voluntary blood samples.

Deputies say that Musolf was not in a designated crosswalk at the time of the crash. Speed was also not a factor in the crash.

The investigation continues.
